(Candidate should report to APO(Admn) at 9:00 hrs on the date of walk in interview for documents verification).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

  1. The consolidated remuneration mentioned at page-01 will be made. No other perks or remuneration or facilities will be admissible.
  2. The payment of remuneration will be made on monthly basis. No payment will be made on school vacation. In case of broken month, pro rata payment will be made.
  3. He or She should be between the age of up to 65 years (as on: – 01/ 01/2024).
  4. Engagement of teachers on contract basis may be for a period of not less than 07(seven) days and not more than 360(Three sixty) days.
  5. The contract teacher would not be entitled to any facility like leave, medical, passes, PTOs transportation etc.
  6. The contract teacher will have no claim or right for appointment on regular basis and will not from part of the cadre of railway teachers.
  7. The contract shall be liable to be terminated by giving two weeks’ notice by either side without assigning any reason. Their contract will also be terminated if their performance is found unsatisfactory during the period of their working in Railway School.
  8. The contract shall be terminated immediately, if the teacher is mentally/physically incapacitated.
  9. The Contract teacher who enter into contract with the railway will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract for regularization/absorption in the post.
  10. The part time teacher shall undergo a medical examination (Medical Standard-CEE-TWO, C-2) before the contract is entered into, to ensure his/her fitness to perform the work assigned to him/her. In case of his/her not passing the required medical standard, his candidature will be cancelled.
  11. At the time of entering into contract the teacher shall produce character and antecedent certificates as proof of his/her good character and antecedents from two Gazetted Officer of the Centre/State Government.
  12. At the time of interview & entering into contract, the candidate shall produce original certificates for proof of his/her date of birth and educational and technical qualification. The candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC community should bring along with him/her original community (SC/ST/OBC) certificate issued by competent authority in prescribed form of Government of India.
  13. The contract teacher shall be governed in respect of matters not referred to in these terms and conditions by any order/amendments to the terms of contract issued by the Railway Administration from time to time.
  14. In case of absence from duties, proportionate recovery will be made from the remuneration.
  15. Weekly rest will be admissible as per provisions of rules. The part time teacher will have to abide by the rules of the Organization/Institution.
  16. The contractual teachers appointed for a period of less than a month will be paid on pro rate basis only.
    The pro rate payment to teachers may be regulated may as under:-
    Consolidated Pay x Number of days worked. 30days.
  17. Teachers appointed on contractual basis will not be entitled for vacation pay and during autumn/winter
    break, payment shall be calculated on the Pro rata basis.
  18. The railway administration reserves the right to cancel, amend or otherwise modify all or any of the terms
    & conditions of this notification without assigning any reason (s) thereto.
  19. The selected candidates will have to execute a contract with Railway Administration.

NOTE :- If number of candidates are more, then interview may conducted next working day, so the candidate coming for the interview should be prepared to stay for the same through their own arrangement. Teacher would perform all jobs related to academics including evaluation work for which no extra payment will be made.

Candidates to please note :-

i) The engagement, if done, will purely be on contract basis & the contract would be automatically terminated on
the date specified for the purpose, if not terminated earlier and the existing contract will not be extended under
any circumstances.
ii) The contractual teacher who enters into contract with the Railway will not have any claim or right for his/her
continuity or automatic extension of the terms of contract after the specified date of expiry of contract.
iii) No TA/DA is admissible for the interview.
iv) If any candidate is already employed he/she will have to submit NOC from her/his employer, at the time of
verification

In the event of any wrong information/fake academic certificate/testimonials/misstatement/discrepancy in the
particulars being detected at any stage, the candidature/contract may be cancelled/terminated without any notice and necessary action as per extant law will be taken. Further, no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. The willing candidates may directly report for the “WALK-IN-INTERVIEW’ to the venue of interview as per date and time specified at page No-02 with copies of all certificates/testimonials/mark sheets in original and two copies (attested by Gazetted officer / self-attested) and also 2(two) recent pass port size photographs along with a filled application form.
